Setting Up the 'Remove Ads' Product in Your App

If you want to provide your users with an ad-free experience and monetize your app through in-app purchases, setting up the 'Remove Ads' product is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure the 'Remove Ads' in-app product in your app using the Google Play Console.

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up 'Remove Ads' Product:

1. Access Google Play Console:
   Go to Google Play Console and sign in to your Developer account.
   
   
2. Navigate to Your App:
   Locate and select your app from the list of published apps. Please ensure that you have already uploaded at least one Android App Bundle (AAB) for your app.
   
   
3. Go to Monetize > Products > In-app Products:
   Within the Google Play Console, navigate to the Monetize section. Then, click on "Products" and select "In-app products."
   
   
   
4. Create In-app Product:
   Click on the "Create product" button to create a new in-app product for removing ads. Fill in the required properties with the following details:
   • Product ID: disabled_ads
   • Name: Disable ad 
   • Description: Remove all advertising in the app
   • Default price: $1.99 (or set your own, you're free to experiment with prices to achieve optimal results)
     
     Make sure to input the Product ID Correctly!
     Pay attention to the Product ID field and enter it exactly as "disabled_ads" to ensure proper integration with your app.
     
     
5. Activate the Product:
   Once you have entered the necessary details, click the "Activate" button to make the 'Remove Ads' product available for purchase.
   
   
6. Publish Your App:
   To enable in-app purchases, make sure your app is published on Google Play. In-app purchases only work for live apps.
   
   
7. Expand In-App Purchase Availability:
   By default, you've got 1 free in-app purchase, which means after you set up the 'Remove Ads' product, only 1 user of your app will be able to purchase it. If you wish to make this feature available for more of your users, you have the option to purchase one of our in-app purchase packages available on the main page of the Dashboard or in the Monetize section:
   • 50 In-App Purchases Package: For $25, this package grants you 50 additional in-app purchases.
   • 4 In-App Purchases Package: For $20, this package provides you with 4 additional in-app purchases.
